About the Role
As the Technical Lead – Networks, you’ll provide senior-level expertise and leadership across network architecture, engineering, and operations. You’ll collaborate with internal teams and external partners to design, implement, and maintain robust network and firewall systems, while mentoring others and contributing to strategic technology roadmaps.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and continuous improvement of network systems and procedures.
- Design and implement Zero Trust Architecture principles.
- Configure and maintain LANs, WANs, wireless networks, firewalls, and related hardware.
- Deploy and manage observability tools (e.g., SNMP, Zabbix, Prometheus, Grafana).
- Automate network provisioning using Infrastructure as Code tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).
- Provide second and third-level support and participate in an on-call roster.
- Collaborate with cybersecurity, DevOps, and platform teams to ensure secure service delivery.

Essential Experience & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years in enterprise networking and firewall management (FortiGate preferred).
- Experience with public cloud networking (AWS/Azure).
- Strong understanding of protocols (BGP, OSPF, VLAN, IPSEC, NAT, QoS).
- Proficiency in Linux, scripting, and automation tools.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
- Industry certifications (e.g., CCIE, JNCIE).
- Experience in network architecture design and incident response.
- Familiarity with Git, GitLab/GitHub, and DevOps practices.
