The Opportunity
This senior appointment will play a pivotal role in defining and delivering future logistics and support service models that align with long-term organisational objectives.
Working closely with executive stakeholders, you will lead project planning, governance, change delivery, stakeholder engagement, and implementation activities across multiple business units and operational functions. Success in this role will require you to balance strategic outcomes with practical delivery while navigating a complex stakeholder landscape.
What You'll Be Responsible For
Project Leadership & Delivery
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans and delivery roadmaps
- Manage timelines, milestones, dependencies, budgets, and resources
- Lead option analysis and solution development activities
- Coordinate vendors, suppliers, and delivery partners
- Ensure successful implementation of approved solutions and business outcomes
Governance & Reporting
- Establish robust project governance frameworks
- Deliver high-quality executive reporting and insights
- Manage risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies
- Facilitate governance forums, steering groups, and decision-making processes
Organisational Change & Transformation
- Lead significant business change initiatives across a large enterprise environment
- Drive stakeholder engagement, communications, and readiness activities
- Support transition planning, adoption, and implementation
- Enable sustainable change outcomes through effective people-focused delivery
Stakeholder Management
- Influence and engage senior leaders and executives
- Build trusted relationships across diverse operational and corporate functions
- Navigate competing priorities and complex organisational dynamics
- Create alignment around strategic objectives and future-state operating models
What We're Looking For
To succeed in this role, you'll bring:
- 5+ years' experience delivering large-scale, complex projects and programmes
- Proven experience leading organisational change and business transformation initiatives
- Strong project planning, scheduling, and delivery management capability
- Expertise in risk, issue, dependency, and governance management
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong stakeholder engagement and executive influence capability
- Ability to think both strategically and operationally
- Experience working in fast-paced, politically nuanced, or highly regulated environments
Highly Desirable Experience
We would be particularly interested in hearing from candidates who have experience in:
- Enterprise logistics and supply chain transformation
- Maintenance, engineering, warehousing, or asset-intensive operations
