What you’ll be doing
You’ll provide senior change and engagement leadership within a complex, multi‑agency environment, with a strong focus on BAU sustainability.
Key responsibilities include:
Change Frameworks & Standards
- Designing and implementing a practical Change & Engagement Framework to support BAU and ongoing enhancements
- Creating a repeatable change intake and triage process to improve visibility and prioritisation
- Developing a standard Change Impact Assessment template to consistently articulate operational impacts
- Producing a BAU Change Playbook that:
- Defines end‑to‑end change processes
- Clarifies roles and responsibilities
- Supports consistent people, operational and technical change post‑transition
- Working closely with digital delivery teams to translate enhancements into:
- Operational impacts
- People and capability implications
- Engagement and readiness needs
- Clearly identifying and articulating impacts to support decision‑making and governance
- Providing change artefacts, tools and guidance suitable for ongoing BAU use
- Ensuring change practices are practical, scalable and embedded into day‑to‑day delivery
You’re a seasoned change professional who brings structure without rigidity.
You’ll likely have:
- Strong experience in change management, engagement or adoption roles, ideally in complex or regulated environments
- Proven ability to design and embed repeatable change frameworks and tools
- Experience working alongside digital delivery and operational teams
- Confidence engaging senior stakeholders and cross‑agency groups
- A pragmatic, outcomes‑focused mindset — enabling change rather than slowing it down
- Work on a nationally significant system
- Shape how change is managed in BAU, not just during delivery
- High‑impact role with tangible, lasting outcomes
