We're seeking an experienced Technical Business Analyst to join a major enterprise transformation programme. This is an opportunity to work on a complex SAP environment, partnering with technical and business stakeholders to analyse impacts, define solutions, and deliver high-quality technical documentation.
This role is ideal for a hands-on Technical BA who can quickly get up to speed, facilitate workshops, navigate complex system landscapes, and translate business requirements into technical outcomes.
What You'll Be Doing
Working within a large SAP ecosystem, you'll be responsible for:
- Leading workshops and stakeholder engagement to identify and document technical solutions
- Performing end-to-end impact assessments across systems, integrations, and data flows
- Producing detailed technical specifications and design documentation
- Working closely with architects, integration specialists, and technical SMEs
- Analysing upstream and downstream system dependencies
- Supporting SAP-related transformation initiatives across finance, identity management, reporting, and enterprise risk management capabilities
- Documenting and validating integration, security, and reporting requirements
- Helping ensure accurate and reliable organisational and financial data flows across enterprise platforms
What You'll Bring
To be successful, you'll demonstrate:
- Proven experience as a Technical Business Analyst within complex ICT environments
- Strong SAP experience, ideally across SAP ECC or other on-premise SAP platforms
- Excellent workshop facilitation and stakeholder engagement skills
- The ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences
- Strong technical impact analysis experience, including:
- End-to-end data flows
- Integration analysis
- Upstream and downstream dependency mapping
- Batch processes, programs, and scheduling impacts
- Exposure to:
- Identity and Access Management (IAM)
- Data analysis and reporting
- Finance and enterprise business processes
- Master data and organisational structures
- Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) platforms and processes
- Proficiency across Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Visio
Highly Desirable
- Experience with SAP BW
- Knowledge of SAP Cloud Connector, SAP Router, and integration technologies
- Experience working within large, complex enterprise environments
- Understanding of role-based access models and identity governance
