About the Role
You’ll work alongside an existing Senior Advisor (focused on accountability, strategic intention, and annual reporting) and take ownership of the risk, assurance, and audit portfolio . This is a hands-on role requiring strong expertise in governance, risk frameworks, and audit planning.
Key Deliverables:- Review and update the charter for the external Risk & Assurance Committee.
- Refresh 2026 strategic risks and associated reporting.
- Establish the 2026 audit work programme and review actions from previous audits.
- Update and enhance the risk framework and supporting guidance.
- Deliver quarterly reporting to the Executive Team and external Risk & Assurance Committee.
About You
We’re looking for someone who brings:
- Proven experience in risk management, assurance, and audit within complex organisations.
- Strong understanding of governance frameworks and compliance requirements.
- Ability to work independently and deliver outcomes within tight timeframes.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
