Do you enjoy turning complex data into meaningful performance insights? We're looking for an experienced Monitoring and Insights Analyst to play a key role in strengthening organisational performance measurement capability and improving the quality, consistency and integrity of reporting across a large and complex environment.
This is an opportunity to lead the development and enhancement of performance measures, establish robust governance and stewardship practices, and leave a lasting legacy through sustainable measurement frameworks and processes.
What you'll be doing
You'll work closely with business stakeholders, subject matter experts, and data professionals to:
- Develop, implement and maintain organisational performance measures
- Improve existing measures to ensure they remain relevant, reliable and fit for purpose
- Create clear measure definitions, methodologies, business rules and reporting documentation
- Establish and embed measurement stewardship, governance and change control processes
- Develop and maintain measure metadata, ownership and audit requirements
- Validate and test measures to ensure accuracy, transparency and consistency
- Support performance reporting and continuous improvement initiatives
- Provide expert advice on measurement methodologies, reporting requirements and data quality
- Collaborate with data and analytics teams to deliver sustainable reporting solutions
We're looking for someone with:
- Proven experience developing and managing organisational performance measures and KPIs
- Strong SQL and analytics capability, including data modelling, validation, testing and troubleshooting.
- Experience with Snowflake (highly desirable).
- Power BI development proficiency.
- Strong knowledge of performance reporting, governance and measurement frameworks
- Experience establishing stewardship, metadata and measure lifecycle processes
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong stakeholder engagement and facilitation capabilities
- Experience working with complex datasets and reporting environments
- Exposure to Snowflake or similar modern data platforms
- Ability to translate business requirements into meaningful and measurable outcomes
- Exceptional documentation and communication skills
