This is a rare opportunity to step into a critical in‑flight programme of work focused on data, information management and digital product uplift.
We’re supporting a large public‑sector organisation seeking a high‑performing Delivery Lead to take ownership of delivery for a major Data & Insights initiative. This work is already underway, with key milestones landing in May, followed by ongoing enhancements through to 2027.
What you’ll be doing
As the Delivery Lead, you will drive delivery across a hybrid‑Agile environment, ensuring squads are set up to succeed and that the programme continues to land high‑quality technical and data‑focused outcomes.
You will:
- Lead end‑to‑end Agile delivery planning, including quarterly planning, sprint management and roadmap alignment
- Provide strong servant leadership to delivery squads and ensure Agile rituals, cadence and governance are maintained
- Build strong relationships with business leads, SMEs and external suppliers to ensure clarity of scope, resourcing and expectations
- Manage cross‑team dependencies, risks and issues, escalating effectively when required
- Keep delivery on track for agreed milestones and ensure visibility through quality reporting and transparent communication
- Ensure all new products and processes transition successfully to BAU
- Influence and guide stakeholders across all levels while maintaining a calm, structured and solution‑focused approach
You’ll bring a mix of strong project management discipline, Agile delivery capability, and collaborative leadership. You’ll also be confident stepping into an existing programme and bringing momentum quickly.
Key skills and experience:
- Proven experience delivering large, complex technical projects end‑to‑end — from concept to BAU handover
- Strong data management, IM product experience, or data platform/digital product delivery background
- Experience in DMP / data modernisation / information management environments
- Experience working with multi‑vendor, multi‑disciplinary teams
- Deep practical understanding of Agile and hybrid‑Agile delivery approaches
- Confidence influencing senior leaders, facilitating decision‑making and navigating ambiguity
- Ability to quickly understand an in‑flight programme and drive delivery to established milestones
- Strong planning, reporting, risk management and communication skills
- Experience with Azure DevOps (ADO) preferred
- You’ll be stepping into a critical programme already in motion — your impact will be immediate and visible
- You’ll shape delivery of a major data and digital uplift that influences internal teams and external stakeholders
- You’ll work alongside highly engaged leaders who value transparency, collaboration and delivery excellence
