Barry Mawer
Senior Consultant
Barry Mawer is a senior consultant with more than 30 years experience in the Information Technology industry in NZ and UK, providing consultancy services in New Zealand for Government, Public Service, Health Service, Telecommunications and in the UK for Local Government, Insurance, Banking and Retail.
He has extensive experience working with Public Sector organisations within New Zealand, most recently Archives New Zealand, Department of Labour, Ministry of Education and the New Zealand Defence Force.
He has experience of managing large and small systems integration and application development projects involving client and vendor staff and also of the selection, negotiation, contracting and management of product and services providers. The wide experience of project management, project review and the procurement process has been gained from both sides of the client – vendor relationship.
