His background in consulting, operations and information technology brings a unique skill set to clients. Alan’s hybrid career has enabled him to effectively communicate across all parts of an organisation from the boardroom to the operating staff. He has in fact managed every major function of the value chain and delivered large IT projects. Alan was a senior manager for Ernst & Young leading their supply solution for New Zealand. Prior to this, Alan ran his own supply chain consultancy company after having spent nine years in Fonterra’s consumer business, latterly as the Group Information Officer. Evidence of his capability and value can be judged by Fonterra who asked him to travel, with his family, from the United Kingdom to New Zealand to help them in defining their international supply chain solution and then in choosing their partner vendors. |

He has extensive experience working with Public Sector organisations within New Zealand, most recently Archives New Zealand, Department of Labour and the Ministry of Justice.
