 | John Coey - John has had over 30 years experience in the Rural Bank, National Bank and ANZ National Bank. Over the last 10 years, John has held senior Risk Management positions as Head of Operational Risk and Head of Compliance at ANZNational Bank. He has lead the successful implementation of operational risk and compliance frameworks and policies across the Bank. John held the position of Money Laundering Reporting Officer at ANZNational Bank since 2001 and has attended conferences in London and Australia on Money Laundering and Countering the Financing of Terrorism. John has been closely associated with the Anti Money Laundering and Countering the Financing of Terrorism (AML/CFT) reform having chaired the New Zealand Bankers Association compliance committee in 2008 and ongoing liaison with the Ministry of Justice. John brings both business understanding of the regulatory obligations that New Zealand Financial firms will now face together with the practical experience of implementing cost effective AML / CFT programmes across organisations. |
 | Tim Robinson - Tim has had over 30 years experience in financial services having held senior risk management positions in both Australia and New Zealand for Westpac and ANZ Banking Groups as well as involvement in large business transformation and integration projects for both organisations. Tim’s recent experience has been with a leading professional services firm where he has leveraged his experience to provide consultancy services in risk governance models, credit risk, operational risk and regulatory compliance. Directly associated with the AML / CFT legislation in New Zealand Tim, has worked closely with the Ministry of Justice over the past two years both in an advisory capacity and assisting with the communication of the legislative requirements to business. Tim brings an implicit understanding of the legislative obligations and how this will impact on business operating models leading to the ability to tailor and deploy cost effective compliance solutions. |
 | Kerry Balm - Kerry has been providing professional services in programme & project management and change management within the private and public sectors for 15 years. Specialising in programme and project management, her skills have been applied across various business disciplines including human resources (organisational restructures/change), information technology, risk management and business process management. Kerry is experienced in dealing with all levels of management and has good knowledge of varied project methodologies. Kerry brings strong programme management leadership capability to help organisations put in place effective programme governance to ensure all aspects of the compliance programme are adequately covered. |
